Refund and Returns Policy

At House of Kings Creations (HOK), we take pride in delivering high-quality, handcrafted and carefully curated fashion pieces made to elevate your confidence and style. Because our products are created with precision and care, our refund and return guidelines ensure fairness, clarity, and excellent customer experience. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. General Policy Overview

Bespoke (Custom-made) items are NOT eligible for refunds or returns, as they are made specifically to the client’s measurements and requirements.

• Ready-to-Wear items may be eligible for return or exchange under certain conditions (see Section 3).

• Accessories, corporate uniforms, discounted items, and promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned.

• International customers must follow all guidelines in this policy.

Our goal is that every customer is satisfied. If you have a concern with your order, please contact our support team within the allowed timeframe.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Refund Policy for Bespoke & Custom-Made Clothing

Bespoke tailoring is a detailed process involving unique measurements, fabric choices, custom fittings, and personalized design work. Because each bespoke item is made exclusively for you:

❌ No refunds, returns, or exchanges are accepted for:

• Custom wedding suits & ceremonial outfits

• Custom dresses & gowns

• Traditional/cultural wear

• Made-to-measure suits or dresses

• Family matching outfits

• Corporate uniform orders

• Any item where fabric was cut or production has started

However, we do offer:

✔ Free Adjustments (Within 7 Days of Delivery)

If your bespoke item requires minor adjustment due to fitting, House of Kings Creations will make necessary modifications at no extra cost. Customers are responsible for shipping the product back to us (if applicable).

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

3. Returns & Exchanges for Ready-to-Wear Items

We accept returns only for unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged ready-to-wear items with original tags and packaging.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return or exchange:

• Request must be made within 7 days of receiving the item.

• Item must be in original condition (no stains, odor, damage, or wear).

• Tags, labels, and original packaging must be intact.

• Proof of purchase is required.

Non-eligible Ready-to-Wear Items

• Items bought on sale or discount

• Items marked final sale

• Worn or altered items

• Accessories (caps, jewelry, scarves, etc.)

• Lingerie or intimate apparel

• Custom color or fabric requests

Return Options

1. Exchange for another size or item (if available)

2. Store credit (valid for 6 months)

Refund Back to Original Payment Method Refunds to the original payment method are available only if the item arrives damaged or defective and you report it within 48 hours of delivery.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item Delivered

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

• Order number

• Photos or video of the issue

• Packaging evidence

• Description of the problem

Once verified, you may receive:

• Free replacement

• Repair

• Store credit

• Refund (only in cases where replacement is not possible) HOK covers return shipping only for validated damaged or incorrect orders..

5. Cancellation Policy

Ready-to-Wear Orders

• You may cancel within 12 hours of placing the order if it has not shipped.

Bespoke & Custom Orders

• No cancellations after payment has been made or once production begins.

• Consultation, design work, and fabric sourcing fees are non-refundable.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

Unless the item arrived defective or incorrect:

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

• Shipping fees paid during initial order are not refundable.

• International customers must cover customs charges and duties.

7. International Orders

We ship worldwide. However:

• Returns from outside the UK/Nigeria must meet all return criteria.

• All customs, duties, and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

• Refunds are issued only after the returned item is inspected and approved.

8. Processing Time for Returns

Once we receive your returned item:

• Inspection takes 2–5 business days

• Exchanges are shipped after processing

• Store credit is issued within 24–48 hours after approval Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 5–10 business days

9. Store Credit Terms

Store credits issued for valid returns:

• Cannot be exchanged for cash

• Are valid for 6 months

• Can be used on any product, including new collections

• Must be used in one or multiple orders before expiration

10. Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
